Bis(μ-4-fluoro-2,6-diformylphenolato)bis[diaquanickel(II)] dichloride

In the title dinuclear nickel(II) complex, [Ni(2)(C(8)H(4)FO(3))(2)(H(2)O)(4)]Cl(2), synthesized by the reaction between 4-fluoro-2,6-diformyl-phenol and nickel(II) chloride in methanol, the coordination cation is located on an inversion center and the Ni(II) atom adopts a slightly distorted octa-hedral coordination geometry. The two Ni atoms are bridged by two phenolate O atoms and the intra-m...

4-Ammoniobenzamidinium dichloride

The crystal structure of the title compound, C(7)H(11)N(3) (2+)·2Cl(-), has been determined as part of a project focusing on the ability of the benzamidine system to form strong hydrogen bonds in aqueous media. It is commonly used as a ligand in affinity chromatography for purification and immobilization of enzymes. A twofold rotation axis runs along the axis of the cation. The orientation of t...

4-(Ammoniomethyl)pyridinium dichloride

The title compound, C(6)H(10)N(2) (2+)·2Cl(-), contains a network of 4-(ammonio-meth-yl)pyridinium cations and chloride anions which are inter-connected by N-H⋯Cl hydrogen bonds. The crystal packing is also influenced by inter-molecular π-π stacking inter-actions between identical anti-parallel organic cations with a face-to-face distance of ca 3.52 Å.

4-Amino-3-ammoniopyridinium dichloride

The anions and cations of the title compound, C(5)H(9)N(3) (2+)·2Cl(-), are connected by two chloride-bridged three-centered N-H⋯Cl hydrogen bonds into a three-dimensional network. The aromatic rings are not involved in stacking inter-actions.

4-Chloroanilinium (4-chlorophenyl)guanidinium dichloride hemihydrate

In the title hydrated molecular salt, C(6)H(7)ClN(+)·C(7)H(9)ClN(3) (+)·2Cl(-)·0.5H(2)O, the water O atom lies on a crystallographic twofold axis. In the crystal, inter-molecular N-H⋯Cl and O-H⋯Cl hydrogen bonds form layers perpendicular to the ac plane in which both the water mol-ecule and the chloride anion are involved in connecting the layers into a three-dimensional structure.
